Demons should not be confused with “Fallen Angels”, called Nephilim (see subject on Nephilim). Demons are terrestrial, Matthew 12:43-45, they do not have bodies, for they are spirit beings. They would have a hard time entering our bodies if they had bodies of their own! They are the disembodied spirits of the dead, outside of God, who inhabit mankind.
Known as evil, unclean, familiar, ruling, weak and beggarly, spirits. Devils and Demons are all the same. When out of a host they wander through waterless places seeking, but finding none. Notice in Matthew 12:43-45, the demons’ intent is to get seven fellow demons, more evil than himself, to come back into the host.
Demons can be very young (I met one only three months old) or they can be ancient. They can be meek or powerful! When dealing with them, remember the Blood of Christ, this is your most powerful weapon! Do not challenge them in the name of Jesus, unless you qualify the name. There are thousands of Jesuses in this world. I prefer the name they fear the most: “The Holy One of God”!
Remember that demons have rights to inhabit us. These rights must be taken away before an effectual deliverance can be accomplished:
- The candidate must forgive everyone who has hurt or harmed them.
- He or she must verbally break all bonds of witchcraft.
- All alliances with Satan must be broken.
Through interrogation, find the chief demon. Bind them as a family and cast them out!
This is not a ministry—it is the duty of every child of God!
And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
