Paul tells us:

There are varieties of gifts but the same Spirit, and there are varieties of Service (ministries) but the same Lord (Master), and there are varieties of Working (Power) but it is the same God who inspires them all in everyone.

1 Corinthians 12:4-6

Notice their ministries are separate one from another, yet they all blend together to make it work.

Now you are the body of Christ and individual members of it. And God has appointed in the Church: First Apostles, Second Prophets, Third Teachers, Then Workers of Miracles, Then Healers, Administrators, Speakers of Various Kinds of Tongues.
