Spiritual Notes

1.

God was in Messiah reconciling the world to Himself. 2 Corinthians 5:19.

Messiah was God’s servant as well as His Son. His job was to offer His soul as well as His life for those who were written in the Book of Life before the foundation of the world. Ephesians 1:4-6.

For it pleased God to crush Him by disease, to see if His soul would offer itself in restitution, that the purpose of God might prosper in the hand of Messiah.

My servant will make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities; therefore I will divide Him a portion with the Great, and He shall divide His spoil with the Strong, because He poured out His soul to death.

Isaiah 53:10-12

We all must die physically, but the death of the soul, the second death, is what we are trying to avoid. If Messiah did not offer His soul to death, you and I would not have eternal life, life for the ages.

HOW DID Messiah save His soul?

This is why the Father loves Me, because I lay down My soul that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My own accord. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again; this charge I have received from My Father.

John 10:17

The Kingdom of God are all those souls that Yahweh God, the Most High, our Heavenly Father, knew and predestined to be His children before the foundation of the world.

Those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Romans 8:29

Even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. He predestined us in love to be His sons through Yahshua Messiah according to the purpose of His will.

Ephesians 1:4-6

2.

My Name is Yahweh, that is My Name. My glory I give to no other.

Isaiah 42:6-9

God’s name is not “Lord”.

3.

From Me proceeds the Spirit, and I have made the Spirit of Life.

Isaiah 57:16

4.

The God of Israel gives strength and power to His people.

Terrible is God in his[a] sanctuary, the God of Israel, he gives power and strength to his people. Blessed be God!

Psalm 68:35

I have been told by the Holy Spirit to pray for strength and power on a daily basis over and over. Strength and power is one of the seven Spirits of God, the Spirit of Might.

And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. Isaiah 11:1
