This is not a commentary nor is it so much a teaching on the book of Revelation as it is an enlightenment concerning: “Rightly dividing the Word of Truth!” The archaic definition of illumination is: “An intellectual and spiritual enlightenment”.
The following work is best read in conjunction with the Bible chapters listed. I pray this will help you better understand some of the more important issues of Revelation.
This is the last book of the new covenant. It contains the Word of God and the Testimony of Messiah. YHWH God gave this revelation to His Son Jesus Christ to be shared with His servants. Messiah sent His Angel to John on Patmos Island, where he was imprisoned for proclaiming the Word of God and the testimony of Messiah. John shared the Revelation with 7 Churches in western Asia. There were many, perhaps fifty Churches in western Asia, why just seven? But what we must realize is: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea were very large and prominent Cities, and as Smith’s Bible dictionary reminds us, the Greek word for Church is Ekklesia, meaning the “Called Out Ones.” Therefore God may not be talking just to Rev. Jones’ little flock at Hallelujah Ave. And Ferryboat Lane in the town of Ephesus, but to every Christian living in Ephesus!
Then there are those that believe that the seven Churches stand for seven Church ages:
EPHESUS: means to relax (perhaps lose the 1st Love) 100-200 A.D.
SMYRNA: means bitter. (Persecution) 200-300 A.D.
PERGAMUM: means marriage (Church and State under Constantine) 316 A.D.
THYATIRA: means laxity or to let go. (Dark Ages) 500-1500 A.D.
SARDIS: means to escape or come out. (Reformation under Martin Luther) 1500-1800 A.D.
PHILADELPHIA: means brotherly love. 1800 A.D.
LAODICEA: means self-deception 1900-.
Finally, there are those that are persuaded that the seven Churches are seven different Messianic Communities within the Body of Christ. Similar perhaps to the seven-fold Spirit of God. Each having different ministry, yet functioning as a unit. Such as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Then I turned to see the voice speaking to me, on turning I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the lampstands, one like the son of man.
Revelation 1:12-13
As for the mystery of the SEVEN STARS which you saw in my right hand, and the SEVEN GOLDEN LAMPSTANDS, the SEVEN STARS are the ANGELS OF THE SEVEN CHURCHES and the Golden lampstands are THE SEVEN CHURCHES.
Revelation 1:20
Notice that Messiah not only has the seven Spirits of God but the seven Angels as well, not to mention the seven Churches! He has also been given ALL authority and ALL judgement as well as the ABILITY to RAISE THE DEAD!
For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life TO WHOM HE WILL. The FATHER JUDGES NO ONE, but has given ALL JUDGEMENT TO THE SON.
John 5:21-22
Truly, truly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the SON of God, and THOSE WHO HEAR WILL LIVE. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has GRANTED the Son also to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgement, because He is the SON OF MAN.
John 5:25-27
Christ and His Bride will reign with a ROD OF IRON over the nations for 1000 years as a commission; to put all enemies under His feet including death. Then He will deliver the Kingdom to His Father who will reign Supreme and Christ will re-assume His position as High Priest.
For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then at His coming those who belong to Christ. Then comes the end, when He delivers the Kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death.
1 Corinthians 15:22-28
In Revelation Chapter 1 The Father is referred to as:
...the Alpha and the Omega, says Yahweh God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.
Revelation 1:8
Most Christians think Christ is the Alpha and Omega because King James made a careless insertion in Revelation 1:11. No other translation has it, because it does not exist. Good ole K.J.
Chapters two and three of the book of Revelation is Messiah writing to His Seven Messianic Communities (Churches). We will look at the introductions, important issues and conclusions of each letter.
1. EPHESUS
To the Angel (Messenger) of the Church in EPHESUS write: The words of Him who holds the SEVEN STARS in His right hand, who walks among the SEVEN GOLDEN LAMPSTANDS.
Revelation 2:1
You have abandoned the love you had at first. Repent or I will remove your lampstand.
Revelation 2:4-5
To him who conquers I will grant to eat of the TREE OF LIFE, which is in the Paradise of God.
Revelation 2:7
Let us not lose that first love when we were saved and Spirit filled.
2. SMYRNA
And to the Angel of the Church at Smyrna write: The words of the first and the last, who died and came to life.
Revelation 2:8
Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto DEATH, and I will give you the CROWN OF LIFE.
Revelation 2:10
He who conquers shall not be hurt by the SECOND DEATH.
Revelation 2:11
Some Christians will be imprisoned, others will be killed during the first three and one half years of that period called the Day of the Lord (YHWH).
As I looked, this horn MADE WAR WITH THE SAINTS AND PREVAILED OVER THEM.

And through his cunning he shall make deceit prosper under his hand.

3. PERGAMUM
And to the Angel of the Church in Pergamum write: The words of Him who has the sharp two edged sword.

I know where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is.
Revelation 2:13
So you also have some who hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans. Repent then. If not, I will come to you soon and war against them with the sword of my mouth.
Revelation 2:15-16
Pergamum, or Pergamos as some called it, ranked as the first city in Asia, set up by Alexander the Great and his princes. The great library had over two hundred thousand volumes. There were beautiful temples of Zeus, Jupiter, Athena, Apollo and AESCULAPIUS THE SERPENT, whom all Pergamum worshiped. Hence, SATAN'S SEAT?.
To him who conquers I will give some of the HIDDEN MANA, and I will give him a WHITE STONE, WITH A NEW NAME WRITTEN ON THE STONE which no one knows except him.
Revelation 2:17
4. THYATIRA
And to the Angel of the Church in Thyatira write: The words of the SON OF GOD, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and whose feet are like burnished bronze.
Revelation 2:18
I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and beguiling my servants to practice immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.
Revelation 2:20
He who conquers and who keeps my works until the END, I will give him POWER OVER THE NATIONS, and he shall RULE THEM WITH A ROD OF IRON, and I will give him the MORNING STAR.
Revelation 2:26-28
Christ is the Morning Star!
I, Jesus, have sent my angel to you with this testimony for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright morning star.
Revelation 22:16
5. SARDIS
To the Angel of the Church in Sardis write: The words of Him who has the SEVEN SPIRITS OF GOD AND THE SEVEN STARS. I know your works; you have the name of being alive, and you are dead. Awake, and strengthen what remains and is on the point of death.
Revelation 3:1-2
He who conquers shall be clad in white garments, and I will not BLOT HIS NAME out of THE BOOK OF LIFE; I will confess his name before my Father and before His angels.
Revelation 3:5
6. PHILADELPHIA
To the Angel of the Church in Philadelphia write: The words of the HOLY ONE, the TRUE ONE, who has THE KEY OF DAVID, who opens and no one shall shut, who shuts and no one opens. I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I KNOW THAT YOU HAVE BUT LITTLE POWER, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.
Revelation 3:7-8
Because you have kept my word with patient endurance, I will keep you from THE HOUR OF TRIAL (OUTPOURING OF GOD'S WRATH) which is coming upon the whole world, to try those who dwell upon the earth. He who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the Temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, THE NEW JERUSALEM which comes down from my God out of Heaven, and MY NEW NAME.
Revelation 3:10-12
Which no one knows but Messiah.
He has a name written which no one knows but himself.
Revelation 19:12
7. LAODICEA
And to the Angel of the Church in Laodicea write: The words of the AMEN, the FAITHFUL AND TRUE WITNESS, THE BEGINNING OF GOD'S CREATION. I know your works; you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot. So, because you are LUKEWARM, and neither cold nor hot, I WILL SPEW YOU OUT OF MY MOUTH. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, I need nothing, not knowing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.
Revelation 3:14-18
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. He who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I myself conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Churches.
Revelation 3:20-22
This verse is found in all the seven letters to the Churches. Remember, ALL THINGS come FROM God THROUGH Christ BY the Spirit.
Chapters four and five are probably the most inspiring and beautiful of all the chapters of Revelation except for twenty one and twenty two. The first and second verse of chapter four is probably the most abused and misunderstood verses in the New Covenant.
After this I looked, and lo, in Heaven an open door. And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, Come up hither, and I will show you what must take place after this. At once I was in the Spirit, and lo, a throne stood in Heaven, with one seated on the throne.
Revelation 4:1-2
The Church uses these scriptures to prove that this is the entire Church being raptured. This, of course, has nothing to do with the Church. It is John being moved by the Spirit to the Third Heaven. There we get a glimpse of God on His Throne, the twelve Apostles and the twelve sons of Jacob on their thrones, the seven-fold Spirit of God before God’s Throne, and the living creatures beside His Throne. Around all these thrones are thousands upon thousands of Angels saying with loud voices:
Worthy is the LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.
Revelation 5:12
This chapter is all about WHO IS WORTHY to open the scroll with the seven seals, the Revelation.
I wept much that no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. Then one of the elders said to me, Weep not, lo, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals. And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders, I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with SEVEN HORNS AND SEVEN EYES, WHICH ARE THE SEVEN SPIRITS OF GOD sent out into all the earth. And he went and took the scroll from THE RIGHT HAND OF HIM WHO WAS SEATED ON THE THRONE.
Revelation 5:4-7
Now Messiah is ready to open the scroll with seven seals. We have finally come to the REVELATION. Six seals will be opened in the sixth chapter alone. The seventh seal will be opened in the eighth chapter and will extend clear to the end of this book. Just the last two and one half chapters will tell us about the Kingdom Age and the New Age.
The sixth chapter begins with the opening of the FIRST SEAL. The rider on the white horse going out to conquer is the first Beast, the son of perdition or anti Christ. The opening of the next three seals are his three horsemen, WAR, FAMINE, and DEATH.
Most Christians believe these four horsemen could be from God and are causing war, famine, and death to all people on the earth. It doesn't wash! Scripture will not support it.
First, God does not take action against the Beast nor the wicked nations until the seventh seal is opened. This is called the outpouring of His wrath.
Second:
As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. THEY ATE, THEY DRANK, THEY MARRIED, THEY WERE GIVEN IN MARRIAGE, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and THE FLOOD CAME AND DESTROYED THEM ALL. Likewise, as it was in the days of Lot, THEY ATE, THEY DRANK, THEY BOUGHT, THEY SOLD, THEY BUILT, but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom FIRE AND BRIMSTONE RAINED FROM HEAVEN AND DESTROYED THEM ALL. SO IT WILL BE ON THE DAY WHEN THE SON OF MAN IS REVEALED.
Luke 17:26-29
The Perusia: that day He is seen in ueaven by all people on earth sending forth His Angels to seal the Jews, destroy the first Beast, cast Satan and his Angels to earth, and TAKE HIS BRIDE.
The point I am trying to make is that the first horseman is the Beast. He with the other three horsemen must rule and reign for the first three and one half years, causing war, famine, and death among God’s people, Jews, Christians, and other believers not yet Messianic. The Beast blesses those who worship him. God and the Lamb allow the Beast to rule.
The opening of the fifth seal reveals martyrs that have been slain for THE WORD OF GOD, NOT THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS. This leads us to believe they are OLD COVENANT SAINTS.
The opening of the sixth seal:
I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale.
Revelation 6:12-13
Calling to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb. For THE GREAT DAY OF THEIR WRATH HAS COME, AND WHO CAN STAND BEFORE IT?".
Revelation 6:16-17
The Day of God’s Wrath has been prophesied many times in many books. Here are a few:
Behold, the day of the Lord comes, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger.
Isaiah 13:9-10
And I will show portents in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke.
Joel 2:30-32
Multitudes, multitudes, in the valley of decision.
Joel 3:14-16
Alas for the day, for the day of the Lord is near.
Amos 5:18-20
The great day of the Lord is near.
Zephaniah 1:14-16
Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened.
Matthew 24:29
For the great day of their wrath has come.
Revelation 6:12-17
Chapter Seven
The seventh chapter, not the seventh seal, lands us three and one half years into Daniel’s seven year period. There is only one seal left to open, and that is the outpouring of the wrath of God and His Lamb. Before this terrible Day of the Lord, four things must be accomplished.
Satan and his angels must be thrown to earth so that he can pursue God’s people, Israel.
And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to bear a child, that he might devour her child when she brought it forth.
Revelation 12:3-6
But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness.
Revelation 12:13-14
The Beast must be slain, but not unto death, at Messiah’s appearance after it has ruled and reigned forty two months.
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of his mouth and destroy by his appearing and his coming.
2 Thessalonians 2:8
One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed.
Revelation 13:3-5
The one hundred forty four thousand Jews must be sealed to go through God’s wrath, and finally the Bride, not the Church, will be taken. The last two events are described in detail in chapter seven and in Matthew chapter twenty five.
Then the Kingdom of heaven shall be compared to ten maidens who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom.
Matthew 25:1-13
Chapter Eight
When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour. Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
Revelation 8:1-2
Chapters eight to eleven and fifteen to sixteen describe the outpouring of God’s wrath on the wicked nations. Only chapter eleven will be addressed here, for this applies directly to the Church.
Chapter Eleven
The eleventh chapter is important because it deals with the two witnesses as well as the seventh angel blowing his trumpet.
And I will grant my two witnesses power to prophesy for one thousand two hundred and sixty days. These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands which stand before the Lord of the earth.
Revelation 11:3-4
And I said to him, What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand.
Zechariah 4:11-14
And behold, two men talked with him, Moses and Elijah.
Luke 9:28-31
And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends from the bottomless pit will make war upon them and conquer them and kill them. And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which is allegorically called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified. For three days and a half men from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations gaze at their dead bodies and refuse to let them be placed in a tomb, and those who dwell on the earth rejoice over them and make merry and exchange presents, because these two prophets had been a torment to those who dwell on the earth. But after the three days and a half the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood up on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from Heaven saying to them, Come up here. And in the sight of their foes they went up to Heaven in a cloud.
Revelation 11:7-12
This will occur about the same time the Church is resurrected, near the end of Daniel’s week, when the seventh angel blows his trumpet.
Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in Heaven, saying, The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever. And the twenty four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying, We give thanks to thee, Lord God Almighty, who art and who wast, that thou hast taken thy great power and begun to reign. The nations raged, but thy wrath came, and THE TIME FOR THE DEAD TO BE JUDGED, FOR REWARDING YOUR SERVANTS, THE PROPHETS AND SAINTS, AND THOSE WHO FEAR THY NAME, BOTH SMALL AND GREAT.
Revelation 11:15-18
But in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of God would be fulfilled.
Revelation 10:7
Behold, I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.

For the Lord himself will descend from Heaven with a cry of command.

Chapter Twelve
The twelfth chapter is my favorite chapter, just pregnant with allegory.
A great portent appeared in Heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
Revelation 12:1
This woman is Israel.
Then he dreamed another dream, and told it to his brothers, and said, Behold, I have dreamed another dream. Behold, the sun, the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.
Genesis 37:9
The Dragon, of course, is Satan with the ten horns, kings, and the seven heads. He has ruled the earth seven times through his puppets.
And behold, a fourth beast, terrifying and dreadful and exceedingly strong.
Daniel 7:7
There are four places in the Bible that identify Messiah as the one who is to rule all nations with a rod of iron.
She brought forth a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron.
Revelation 12:5
He who conquers and who keeps my works UNTIL THE END, I will give him power over the nations, and he shall rule them with a rod of iron.
Revelation 2:26
From his mouth issues a sharp sword with which to smite the nations, and he shall rule them with a rod of iron.
Revelation 19:15
You shall break them with a rod of iron, and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
Psalm 2:9
The scriptures go on to tell us that Israel will be fed in the wilderness for three and one half years where God has a place prepared for her to be nourished and protected.
But the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God.
Revelation 12:5-6
But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness.
Revelation 12:13-16
We also learn from this chapter that there is a war going on in Heaven, Michael and his angels fighting Satan and his boys.
Now war arose in Heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon.
Revelation 12:7-10
But praise God we know how it will end! Satan and his angels will be thrown down to earth. He and his host will pursue Israel, but the earth will open (earthquake) up and swallow his army.
The earth came to the help of the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river.
Revelation 12:15-16
The Dragon will now turn his attention to God’s adopted children. You and me. Too late sinner, too late!
Chapter Thirteen
Notice this Beast rises out of the Sea (allegory for People). It also has seven heads and ten horns, as does its daddy, but the diadems or crowns were on the ten horns, whereas in chapter twelve they were on the seven heads. Oh you missed that one did you? C'mon stay awake! The crowns designate the creature and its ministry.
This is the first Beast, the anti-Christ, the Son of Perdition, the one that rules the world for the first three and one half years of Daniel’s week.
And one of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed.
Revelation 13:14
Leaving a blinded right eye and a withered right arm.
Woe to my worthless shepherd, who deserts the flock! May the sword smite his arm and his right eye! Let his arm be wholly withered, his right eye utterly blinded!
Zechariah 11:17
This is probably why they had to clone the Beast.
And it was allowed to give spirit to the image of the Beast.

They couldn't allow the world to see the beast disfigured!
At any rate, the second Beast takes over for the first Beast in the last three and one half years, killing those who will not worship the image of the first Beast and causing all those who do worship the Beast to be marked on the right hand or the forehead.
The MARK of the Beast does not necessarily have anything to do with the NUMBER of the Beast. The number, of course, is six hundred sixty six or six hundred sixteen. The MARK could be your social security number. No one can buy or sell without the mark. This puts God’s people out of business!
Chapter Fourteen
Then I looked, and lo, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him one hundred forty four thousand who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.
Revelation 14:1
These one hundred forty four thousand with the Father’s name, YHWH, written on their foreheads are firstfruits from mankind and celibates. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes.
They may be from the firstfruit resurrection immediately following Messiah’s resurrection.
The tombs also were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised.
Matthew 27:51-53
And/or they could be His Bride.
If any one worships the Beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also shall drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured unmixed into the cup of his anger, and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up for an age of ages, and they have no rest, day or night.
Revelation 14:9-11
The Fifteenth Chapter
Then I saw another portent in Heaven, great and wonderful, seven angels with seven plagues, WHICH ARE THE LAST, for with them the wrath of God is ended.
Revelation 15:1
Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God.
Revelation 16:1
The Sixteenth Chapter
And I saw issuing from the mouth of the DRAGON, and from the mouth of the BEAST, and from the mouth of the FALSE PROPHET, three FOUL SPIRITS like frogs; for they are DEMONIC SPIRITS, performing signs, who go abroad to the KINGS OF THE WHOLE WORLD, to assemble them for battle on the great day of GOD ALMIGHTY. LO, I AM COMING LIKE A THIEF.
Revelation 16:13-15
And they assembled them at the place which is called in Hebrew Armageddon.
Revelation 16:16
Do you find it interesting that Satan, the Dragon, who is supposed to be in charge of all demonic forces as well as the fallen angels, has a demon? These three demons go forth and gather those armies that will fight against Christ and His armies at Armageddon. This is NOT GOG AND MAGOG!!! Armageddon is the last battle of this age. Gog from Magog comes at the end of the Kingdom Age.
And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive the nations which are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog.
Revelation 20:7-8
Christ said to the Church, the called out ones, "Lo, I am coming like a thief in the night." And He will, at the end of this age when the seventh angel blows his trumpet and Christ comes to slay His opponents and take His throne to rule and reign for one thousand years over the wicked nations with a rod of iron. There will be "no peace in the valley" until the NEW AGE following the millenium!
Then comes the end, when He delivers the Kingdom to God the Father, after destroying every rule and every authority and power.

Then I saw Heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True.

The Seventeenth Chapter
Come, I will show you the judgment of the great whore who is seated upon many waters, with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication.

Many waters, in God’s symbolism, are many nations.
And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of blasphemous names, and it had seven heads and ten horns.

The woman was dressed like a papal figure, with a golden cup in her hand full of abominations of her fornication. She was drunk with the blood of the saints and THE BLOOD OF THE MARTYRS of Jesus, and she sits on SEVEN HILLS.
And the woman that you saw is that great city which has dominion over the kings of the earth.

Of course this is the ROMAN CHURCH using the beast and the beast using her, temporarily!
The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is to ascend from the bottomless pit, and go to perdition.
Revelation 17:8
This means it is a demonic spirit that has been here before, is not here now, but is coming back and then will be destroyed. The fact that it is a beast means it is half celestial and half human. The seven heads represent the seven times it has ruled this planet: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Media Persia, Greece, Rome, and when it comes back, Rome revived. The world is dominated by the ten kings and those nations who give their power to the Beast.
The Eighteenth Chapter
I believe Babylon to be an allegory for Rome, and this chapter speaks of her fornication, merchandising, deceit, and destruction.
And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slain on earth.
Revelation 18:24
The Nineteenth Chapter
The first part of this chapter tells of the coming marriage of the Lamb and His Bride.
Let us rejoice and exult and give Him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His Bride has made herself ready. It was granted her to be clothed in fine linen, bright and pure, for THE FINE LINEN IS THE RIGHTEOUS DEEDS OF THE SAINTS.
Revelation 19:7-8
Brideship is based on works. Salvation is free! Brideship is a reward. Notice the fine linen is woven by the Bride. Christ wove the garment of salvation on Calvary!
The last half of this chapter is Messiah and the armies of Heaven going up against the Beast and the kings of the earth and their armies. This is the BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON.
Note: CHRIST has a NAME inscribed which no one knows but himself. His white robe is drenched in the blood of his enemies. He will eventually rule these nations with A ROD OF IRON. On his Robe He has a name inscribed: KING OF KINGS AND MASTER OF MASTERS.

And the armies of Heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, followed him on white horses. From his mouth issues a sharp sword with which to smite the nations, and he shall rule them with a rod of iron.

On his robe and on his thigh he has a name inscribed, King of kings and Lord of lords.
Revelation 19:16
The BEAST and the FALSE PROPHET are both thrown into the LAKE OF FIRE!
And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had deceived those who had received the mark of the beast. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with brimstone.
Revelation 19:20
The FABULOUS TWENTIETH CHAPTER
Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain. 2 And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, 3 and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years were ended. After that he must be loosed for a little while.
Revelation 20:1-3
(To bring Gog from Magog down upon the “Camp of the Saints.”)
Next come the Martyrs, Christians and Jews, who were beheaded for their testimony to Jesus and for the Word Of God. This is the FIRST RESURRECTION, (which comes 3 ½ years after the Bride or “chosen” are taken) these will reign with Christ for 1000 yrs. The 2nd DEATH has no power over them.
The rest of the dead will probably be resurrected at the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT 1000 yrs. later. Satan is released just prior to this and gathering up Gog and his armies goes against JERUSALEM; but fire comes down from heaven and consumes them all. Notice: There is NO BATTLE with Gog of Magog, just instant annihilation.
THE GREAT WHITE THRONE is the judgement seat of God Almighty. The books are opened including the BOOK OF LIFE. All are judged by what they have done. Death and hades were thrown into the lake of fire as well as anyone not found in the Book Of Life, THIS IS THE SECOND DEATH!
The TWENTY FIRST AND TWENTY SECOND CHAPTERS
THEN I SAW A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.”

Revelation 22:1-2
Blessed are those who wash their robes, THAT THEY MAY HAVE RIGHT TO THE TREE OF LIFE and that THEY MAY ENTER THE CITY BY THE GATES. Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and fornicators and murderers and idolaters, and every one who loves and practices falsehood.

I believe the Book of Revelation to be the most important book in the Bible. It is the only book in the New Testament written by Yahweh God Almighty and His Son!
