Ephesians 6:12
Our warfare is against demons (disembodied spirits of the unbelieving "Dead"). They are terrestrial, earthbound, and they are spirits!! This means they can enter into an individual and control not only him, but those he as influence over. This is exactly the way the son of perdition (anti-christ) will operate.
The beast (anti-christ) that you saw, was and is not and is to ascend from the bottomless pit and then go to perdition; and the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life, from the foundation of the world will marvel to behold the beast, because it was and is not and is to come. This calls for a mind with wisdom: the seven heads are the seven mountains on which the woman is seated; they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is and the other is yet to come.
Revelation 17:8-10
This chapter is basically concerned with Vatican City that sits on the seven hills of Rome, but we are only concerned at present with the notorious demon known as: the beast or son of perdition.
The five fallen kings spoken of are: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia and Greece. The one that is, is Rome, who ruled when Revelation was written, and the other is yet to come. These kings were all possessed and inhabited by the same demon, the son of perdition! He has one more king to go, the anti-christ, who will probably be an Assyrian Jew (Dan 7,8 & 11). These powerful demons are found not only in the first beast, but in the false prophet and Satan as well!
And I saw issuing from the mouth of the dragon, and from the mouth of the beast, and from the mouth of the false prophet, three foul spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty (Armageddon).
Revelation 16:13-16
Now we can move on to the "Big Boys", the agents of evil in heavenly places. These are what the church calls "Fallen angels". These are Satan's warriors. They are at present fighting with Michael and his "Angels" (warriors).
Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they were defeated and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
Revelation 12:7-9
One thing to understand here is that angels are men not spirits!!! They are body, soul and spirit. They are celestial men while we are terrestrial.
And the Lord appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat at the door of his tent in the heat of the day.
Genesis 18:1
Satan is an archangel, but he is also a man! He certainly is not a cherub or cherubim nor has he ever been one. Through mistranslation some versions of the Bible portray him as such:
Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth: and I have set thee so; thou wast upon the holy mountain of God
Ezekiel 28:14 (KJV)
Now let’s try a decent translation:
With an anointed guardian cherub I placed you; you were on the holy mountain of God
Ezekiel 28:14 (RSV, speaking not about Satan, but about Adam!)
Angels, because they have their own bodies, cannot enter yours. They can, however, procreate with human females. Because of this, they caused a population explosion on planet earth back in the days of Adam.
Now a population explosion took place upon the earth. It was at this time that beings from the spirit worlds (angellos) looked upon the beautiful earth women and took any that they desired to be their wives. Then Yahweh said, “My spirit must not forever be disgraced by Adam, wholly evil as he is. I will give him 120 years to mend his ways.” (Adam died 120 years later.) In those days and even afterwards, when the evil beings from the spirit world were sexually involved with human women, their children became giants of whom so many legends are told.

Michael and his angels will prevail over Satan and his warlords. And they will be thrown down to planet earth 3 ½ years before this age ends!

Remember: we entertain angels (good and bad) unawares.
Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is not strange if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness.
