Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 with instruction about ablutions, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And this we will do if God permits.
What I have written, I have been inspired to write! And I feel it is my commission at the present time. To most, it will be controversial dud to the standard teaching of the Protestant and Catholic religions. Please read the following subjects carefully and prayerfully. If need be, take the meat and leave the bone! Since there has been only two English translations from the Greek: that of William Tyndale in 1525 and the Latin Vulgate in 1582, we are forced to use dozens of revisions, such as the RSV or NIV. I use about thirty in all, trying to stay away from paraphrasing and stick to the word for word translations. I also use the Analytical Greek/Hebrew concordances and lexicons as well as the RSV interlinear Greek-English New Testament by Marshall. All of this, of course, must be orchestrated by the Spirit of God.
