As I have said before, crowns are not given as souvenirs, but are WON! They are won through attainment and hard work and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation. Salvation is a premiss, a foundation, a basis on which we are to build. Salvation is a precious FREE GIFT OF God, not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9)!

But the Crowns of Life or Righteousness is given as a reward when you have endured trial and stood the test, by being faithful even unto the end.

Blessed is the man who endures trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life which God has promised to those who love him.

James 1:12

Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Revelation 2:10

Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.

2 Timothy 4:8

He who wears a crown rules, and we are called to rule and reign with Christ Jesus for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:4-6).

But friend, you will never rule and reign with the Body of Christ until you learn how to rule and reign over the members of your own body!
