Webster's dictionary tells us that death is the end of life! But are we talking about physical, spiritual or eternal life? We as Christians know that when a person's body ceases to exist, life goes on. It matters not whether that person trusts in God and His Son or not! If you are a child of God, you belong to the household of faith; when the first death occurs (physical) your spirit and soul will be gathered into chambers of rest (sleep) and guarded by angels in profound quiet, awaiting the glory which is due you in the last days.
They shall see the reward of those who have kept my ways, and those who have kept faith in me shall be kept in chambers of rest.
2 Esdras 7:95 (Apocrypha RSV)
But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.
1 Thessalonians 4:13–14

Matthew 12:43–45
An evil or unclean spirit is just a disembodied spirit of the unbelieving dead; or the unbeliever that lives across the street from you and just passed away! They wander the earth as demon spirits until the day of judgment! Fallen man, not fallen angels!
The scripture says:
And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.
John 17:3

Hebrews 10:36
Man is born spiritually dead, thanks to Adam. Repenting and putting our trust in our heavenly Father (Yahweh) and His Son (Yahshua) we have the hope of life eternal. But those who have no hope or trust are looking forward to the second death; this is the finale!
They shall utterly waste away in confusion and be consumed with shame, and shall wither with fear at seeing the glory of the Most High before whom they sinned while they were alive, and before whom they are to be judged in the last times.
2 Esdras 7:87
Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.
