The Way, The Truth, The Life

By Dr. Bud Denner

Spiritual Laws and Truths

  1. We are not called to Christianize nor force our traditions on the world to make it better. We are merely called to evangelize or introduce others to Yahweh God and His Son.

  2. It’s tradition that damns men. Religion hooked to the Truth. God wants your heart! Not your gifts, works, money and a thousand other things.

  3. Religious Flesh: (Ignorant Energy). When God moves, some fertile mind gets hold of the situation, labels it, channels it, and gets it moving on his own!

  4. There is a kernel of truth in every religion that gives it the power to move!

  5. Illumination in the beginning can become binding in the end, if clung to as a doctrine! Much like the old manna that bred worms. A ministry may do the same!

  6. In the realm of the Spirit, there are spiritual laws, rules, techniques, and principles that we don’t recognize because we are body conscious, putting ourselves under carnal laws, rituals, and traditions that are themselves respawned under forces.

  7. Spiritual Reality is the realm of God as opposed to the unspiritual sons of God! This is where the real sons of God dwell!

  8. Messiah comes as Prince, Prophet, and Priest. Be sure to know Him as all three!

  9. In the four Gospels, Messiah refers to Himself as the Son of Man 85 times. Don’t call Him God and worship Him from afar, call Him Friend and know him as a Brother!!!

  10. Messiah is the mature Adam. The last Adam. What God hoped for in Adam was completed in Messiah: Maturity! God wanted Glorification for Adam by building Charater through the Law of Proving and Testing, but Adam failed on the very first test! Messiah is the complete, acceptable manifestation of God's desire in human concept. He was created to give God Pleasure in Fellowship, not help him out. We should put to death the Work Complex. As in the House of Bethany, be a Mary not a Martha.

  11. Adam had as a gift, a perfect nature. He had to build his character through the power of choice. God wanted to be with Adam as his character unfolded and he brought God’s dominion and rulership. Keep your Power of Choice with God. Choose with Him, as God proves and tests us!

  12. God never gives His power—He lends it. He wants us dependent on Him!

  13. Satan came to steal and destroy. His temptations are not always ugly, but sometimes beautiful, such as the fruit in the Garden of Eden. He always works on the same basis: of the Lust of the Eyes, Lust of the Flesh, and the Pride of Life.

  14. Man without God is Subnormal, Psychic, Intellectual, and Body Conscious. The spiritual aspect has been erased!

  15. Faith: Hupo-Stasis from Hupo-Histimi, meaning to stand under or support. When reality comes, faith is unnecessary.

  16. The Bible is written to and about three different groups of people: the Jews, the Gentile nations, and the Church of God. Be careful in your application of a Promise, Prophecy, or Truth to yourself!

  17. All mankind are not God’s children nor are we all Brothers! All human beings are God’s creatures (Genos) because God is our Creator. However, you must be Born Anew or Born From Above to be a Child of God (Teknon).

But to all who received Him, who believed in His name, He gave power to become children of God.

    John 1:12
  18. Man is born in the image of Elohim (Gods) — the Father and the Son. We are designed spiritually to receive the attributes of the Father: Intelligence, Emotion, and Will, overshadowed by a Cloak of Morality. Our phyiscal characteristics, no doubt, come from the Son. I'm sure Adam was patterned after Messiah, as were the Angels! We all pretty much look alike Celestial or Terrestial: Body, Soul and Spirit. The only difference being the Angels have a glorified body. This is not necessarily apparent by looking at them! You must question them!

Then the Gods (Eloyhim: Gods) said, 'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.'

    Genesis 1:26
  19. God is using the world to hammer out a Bride for His Son!

Let us rejoice and exult and give Him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His Bride has made herself ready.

    Revelation 19:7
  20. All things come from God through Christ, by the Spirit. They return the same way — by the Spirit, through Christ (our High Priest) to God.

For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen.

    Romans 11:36
  21. This is the Age of the Holy Spirit, where the Holy Spirit actually indwells us! We must follow His leading and direction, learn how to fellowship with Him, and not grieve Him!

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

    Ephesians 4:30
  22. When being baptized with the Holy Spirit, you are also being empowered! God works through man; therefore, don’t be surprised if you are called upon to speak in a spiritual language, prophesy, utter knowledge or wisdom, heal the sick, cast out demons, etc. It’s merely part of being a spiritual Christian — we are in training pants for bigger and better things!

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.

    Acts 1:8
  23. There are two kinds of Christians: SPIRITUAL and UNSPIRITUAL. The unspiritual are bound by denominations, people, or traditions. They are merely babes in Christ — their lives begin and end with nothing more than salvation. Maturity is not in their vocabulary nor experience. Maturity begins with an introduction to the Spirit of God.

But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their faculties trained by practice to distinguish good from evil.

    Hebrews 5:14
  24. There are five authoritative gifts (dorean) Ministries that Christ gave to MEN: Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, Pastors, and Evangelists. There are nine gifts (Charismatic) that the Holy Spirit gave to men and women: Languages, Interpretation, Utterance of Wisdom & Knowledge, Prophecy, Discerning of Spirits, Powers, Gifts of Healing, and Faith.

All these gifts are to be used to build up the Body of Christ.

  1. God is the head of Christ, as Christ is the head of Man, as Man is the head of Woman. This is God’s Law!

  2. The Yoke, the Cross, and the Crown.
The Yoke is the symbol of service and fellowship (or the Rule of God).
Your Cross is the symbol of self-denial, the fellowship of His sufferings. Through self-denial.
Your Crown is a symbol (reward or opportunity) to rule and reign with Christ!

  3. There are Fruit of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Goodness, Kindness, Mercy, Gentleness, Faithfulness, and Self-Control.

As individual manners, these fruit manifest. The fruit are never a substitute for the Gifts of the Spirit, nor vice versa.

There must be balance! Love is the law to operate the Gifts!

  1. The Law is useless and obsolete! Rules, Regulations and Traditions are of no value in checking the indulgance of the flesh (Romans 7:4-6; Colossians 2:20-23; Galatians 5:4-6)!

Likewise, my brethren, you have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to Him who has been raised from the dead in order that we may bear fruit for God. While we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members to bear fruit for death. But now we are discharged from the law, dead to that which held us captive, so that we serve not under the old written code but in the new life of the Spirit.

Romans 7:4-6

If with Christ you died to the elemental spirits of the universe, why do you live as if you still belonged to the world? Why do you submit to regulations—“Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch”—referring to things which all perish as they are used, according to human precepts and doctrines? These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in promoting rigor of devotion and self-abasement and severity to the body, but they are of no value in checking the indulgence of the flesh.

Colossians 2:20-23

You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace. For through the Spirit, by faith, we wait for the hope of righteousness. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision is of any avail, but faith working through love.

Galatians 5:4-6
  1. In Hewbrews 6:3-1 the scripture tells us: Repentance, Salvation, Baptisms, Laying on of Hands, Resurrections and Final Judgement are all elementary doctrines and to move on to MATURITY!

Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, with instruction about ablutions, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And this we will do if God permits.

Hebrews 6:1-3
  1. The baptism in the Spirit doesn’t give you maturity, but it does give you the ability to grow if you will work with the Spirit, Fellowship with Him, and get to KNOW HIM. He is a very precious PERSON. He’s our Advocate and our Friend. He’s not a God nor should He be worshiped as such.

Many of the preceding laws and truths were taught to me by John Wright Follette, Bill Britton, Dad Asher, and Bert Hodges—three Teachers and a Prophet!
