The Beast

“The Beast” (a living creature). This creature is commonly known as the Anti-Christ. We find it primarily in Daniel and Revelation. It is a product of the joining of an angel and a female human being (Genesis 6:1-4; Jude 6-7).

This beast makes its appearance in Daniel 7:7–8 as the little horn (king or power). The world is dominated by ten major powers or kings woven into a single kingdom (Daniel 7:23-25).

“The Beast that you saw, was and is not, and is to ascend from the bottomless pit, and go to perdition.”

Revelation 17:7-13

The Assyrian Jew or anti-Christ is merely the vehicle the Beast dwells in.

As I looked, the Beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given over to be burned with fire. As for the rest of the Beasts, their dominion was taken away, but their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.

Daniel 7:11-12

“As you saw the iron mixed with the miry clay, so they will mix with one another in marriage, but they will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay. And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a Kingdom that shall never be destroyed.”

Daniel 2:43-44
