Now understand this, that in the last days there will come a time of stress. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, inhuman, implacable, slanderers, profligates, fierce, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding the form of religion but denying the power of it.

2 Timothy 3:1-5

Now the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some will depart from the faith by giving heed to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons.

1 Timothy 4:1

Behold, God will lay waste the earth and make it desolate, and He will twist its surface and scatter its inhabitants. The earth lies polluted under its inhabitants; for they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore a curse devours the earth and its inhabitants suffer for their guilt; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are scorched, and few men are left.

The wine mourns, the vine languishes, all the merry-hearted sigh. No more do they drink with singing; strong drink is bitter to those who drink it. The gladness of the earth is banished, desolation is left in the cities, for thus shall it be in the midst of the earth, among the nations.

Isaiah 24:1-13

For the windows of heaven are opened, and the foundation of the earth will tremble. The earth is violently shaken, the earth staggers like a drunken man, it sways like a hut, its transgression lies heavy upon it, it falls and will not rise again.

On that day God will punish the armies of heaven, in heaven and the kings of the earth on the earth. They will be gathered together as prisoners in a pit, and after many days they will be punished.

And brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death; and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But he who endures until the end will be saved.

Mark 13:12-13

And if Yahweh had not shortened the days, no human being would be saved; but for the sake of the elect (Bride), whom He chose, He shortened the days.
